Lumber is a category of wood used primarily in the construction and renovation of buildings and structures. It generally consists of rough lumber that is transformed into boards, beams, rafters and other construction parts, such as frames, walls, floors, decks, etc. Lumber is chosen for its strength, durability and ability to support heavy loads.
USES
Structural timber is often used for roofs, load-bearing walls, floors and bridges. It is valued for its strength, longevity and ability to support heavy loads.
Lumber is also easy to work with, and can be cut and shaped to suit specific designs and projects. The most common sizes for lumber pieces are 2×4, 2×6, 2×8, 2×10 and 2×12 inches, but custom sizes can also be ordered

Plywood is a composite wood material made from several thin layers of wood glued together with strong adhesives. Each layer of wood is laid perpendicular to adjacent layers, making plywood stronger and more resistant to warping than solid wood.
Plywood is used for a wide variety of construction and woodworking projects, such as partitions, furniture, doors, closets, cabinets and flooring. It is selected for its thermal insulation, moisture resistance and dimensional stability.
OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is a composite wood panel made from layered wood chips bonded together with synthetic resins. The wood chips are arranged in an oriented manner to enhance the board’s strength and stability.
It is often used in the construction of walls, roofs, floors, partitions, furniture and boxes. OSB can also be treated to resist moisture and weathering.
Pine is often used for its strength, durability and ease of processing. It’s also easy to work with hand or power tools, making it popular for construction projects. We offer different grades of pine to suit your needs.
SELECT GRADE / This grade of pine is recommended for all finishing work. It is used for interior woodwork and furniture, for example.
GRADE #1 & #2 / Pine is mainly used for construction and light work in exposed areas. It is an excellent choice for siding, cornices, etc.
Since 1985, we have been proud to be leaders in the distribution of construction materials and the import of flooring and wall coverings, thus contributing to the growth of the construction industry in Eastern Canada.
